About...
Green gram, also known as mung bean or moong dal, is a legume widely cultivated for its edible seeds. It's a quick-growing crop with a short duration, usually taking about 60-90 days to mature. Green gram plants are typically low-growing, with clusters of small, oval-shaped leaves and small yellow flowers. The seeds are small, green, and used in various cuisines for their high protein content and nutritional value. This crop is valued for its adaptability to various soil types and its ability to fix nitrogen in the soil, enriching it for other crops.

Yellow Mosaic Virus (YMV) Solution:
⮞ Vermicompost: Application of well-made vermicompost enhances soil health and plant immunity. It doesn’t directly combat the virus but promotes overall plant health.
Cercospora Leaf Spot Symptom:
It manifests as circular or irregularly shaped spots with a grayish center and dark margins on leaves, affecting photosynthesis and reducing yield.
Cercospora Leaf Spot Solution:
⮞Compost Tea: Fermented compost tea made from organic compost can act as a foliar spray, boosting plant immunity against various leaf spot diseases.
Anthracnose disease symptom:
This fungal disease causes dark lesions on stems, leaves, and pods, leading to premature dropping of pods and decreased yield.
Anthracnose disease Solution:
